I used nothing but Robeez for my kids when they were learning to walk. I liked that they gave my kids some protection, but yet they were also very soft and flexible so that the kids could feel the ground they walked on. They were also easy to slip on and did not fall off the feet.
There are so many cheap knock-offs now, but Robeez has better quality construction. Just look closely and you will see. Once the kids start walking on rougher surfaces like the playground, you will need something more; but for beginning walkers indoors and on sidewalks, this is perfect.
